Before I get into the nitty gritty, I felt it was important you learn a little bit about the person behind the operation.

So, Hi! I’m Raina.

I currently reside in sunny Central Queensland. Outside of work or study, majority of my time is spent either throwing weight around the gym, dabbling in sports photography, spending time with my partner down the beautiful coast or spending quality time having a yarn with my nearest and dearest. I’m a social butterfly at heart and really enjoy building solid connections with those around me.

These experiences shape my approach to my counselling—grounded in connection, balance, and the importance of taking time to recharge. Just as I value building relationships and enjoying life’s simple pleasures, I bring that same warmth and openness to my work with clients. My personal journey allows me to relate to the challenges of everyday life, and it fuels my passion for supporting others in their own healing.

Why I created 'W.W.C.S’?

To put it simply - I’ve been through it, and I have tools and life experiences to share.

I also wholeheartedly believe in the importance of having a safe space to feel seen, heard and supported. It was one of the only things that got me through, and helped me build a life that I am so deeply proud of.

Growing up, I got to experience more than the average person.

Severe grief and loss, child abuse, road trauma, mixed family dynamics, unhealthy relationships, the list could go on. This was all within my first 18 years, and all of which led me to a very turbulent journey with anxiety, depression, unhealthy coping skills, unhealthy beliefs and a lack of support.

That was until I turned 18, and all of it caught up with me... the physical health side of living in a state of fight or flight hit me, HARD. I was forced to slow down and go within. I had to lay everything out and start again.

The way I cared for my body, the way I spoke to myself, trauma work, boundaries… it felt like I was starting again. It took me years… BUT, what I started to learn through sessions with my own counsellor, was that all of the things I needed were within. The love, safety, and care that I so desperately needed was within. the resilience, strength and grit that I needed, was within.

Coming out of that, I had found my warrior within.

Being that counseling is person-focused and rooted in empowering the client, I felt that my own life experiences and the toolkit I’ve developed over the years would enable me to offer the kind of support and guidance that truly meets the needs of those I work with, while being able to really meet your experiences with genuine empathy and compassion through my own.

All in all, I want to give you the same space to tap in to your inner voice…

Your warrior within.
